Guatemala
Cute studio with very comfortable bed. Walkable neighborhood with bars/restaurants close by.
Basically a very cool hostel with shared and private rooms. Location is good, mixed aged crowd but seemed very popular with backpackers. They have a restaurant/bar onsite and their beach club is fun.
Very comfortable 2bdrm/2bath in a suburb type neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and a mall close by. In unit washer/dryer is a plus.
My favorite Airbnb during my recent trip. 1bdrm/1bath, very comfortable with lots of natural light. Very close to the GUA airport. Mall and restaurants close by. Very quiet building with in-unit washer/dryer.
A little outside of the main city square, but walking or getting an Uber (especially at night if traveling solo) is very easy. Very comfortable bed.
Aruba
This 2bdrm/1 bath property is within walking distance of the hotel/restaurant zone. It's very comfortable and the outdoor space is AMAZING. I worked from here and the WiFi was super strong. Great host and property manager.
Playa del Carmen
Studio in condo building with 24 hour security. Very large and spacious. Close to 5th Ave and Wal-Mart, but still very quiet. The back of the condo has a view of the local airport, but I didn't hear much noise. Very nice pool deck, but the pool is not heated.
